Jess is thrilled to be leading this circle and putting her Restorative Justice training and knowledge into practice for artists and creatives alike. Bringing together her many talents, she is excited to be in a circle with you.
Jess Vann is a Chicago-based actor, vocalist, speaker, entrepreneur, Restorative Justice practitioner, and the host of Tomfoolery and Shenanigans w/ Jess Vann. With over 15 years of leadership experience in the non-profit sector, she specializes in youth development, adult engagement, and social impact, and is recognized for fostering community and advancing leadership both on and off the stage. She is a proud member of The Chicago Inclusion Project, a speaker with the Illinois Afterschool Network, and has been featured on the Black Educators Matter podcast and in After School Today magazine.Jess holds a B.S. in Theatre and Interpretation from Central Michigan University and an M.A. in Training and Development from Roosevelt University, equipping her to deliver corporate training, coaching, talent development, instructional design, performance management, and consulting. As Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Creative Spaces Consulting w/ Jess Vann, she designs theatre- and play-based leadership workshops that empower individuals and teams to lead with authenticity,

creativity, and purpose—disrupting
traditional hierarchical models and fostering liberatory, human-centered spaces.Her acting credits include House Musical: Coming of Age in the Age of House (Campsongs), Kentucky (The Gift Theatre), Billy Elliot and 1776 (Porchlight), Homos, or Everyone in America (Pride Films and Plays), and Disaster! The Musical (Chicago Theatre Workshop).
